Default Eagle Point with AutoCAD 2010

We're on the brink of upgrading to AutoCAD 2010 with Eagle Point (for landscape design.) In testing we're patching EP 8.1 up to 9.2 and getting it to work, apparently, fine with AutoCAD 2009. But with 2010 we get errors that it's not finding the epcmob18.arx and epsysa18.arx files. The release notes say EP 9.2 is compatible with AutoCAD 2010 but no new .arx files for it get installed. Only the old ...14.arx through ...17.arx files are there. Has anyone else run into this?

We've tested it out on virtual and physical machines in both Windows XP and Windows 7, 32-bit environments.

    Thanks!

I don't know anything about the files supplied by EP, but 2010 will not load and run ARX files compiled for 2007-2009.

Have you contacted Eagle Point? They should be able to help you on this.

I wouldn't stress too much - they are moving to Civil3D as their platform.

Are the Landscape based modules being discontinued in 2011 also? I know the Civil series is, just not sure about the Landscape modules.

And _that's_ supposed to reduce stress?

Well, when you put it that way...

We have it easy, as we don't use it much at all (our part of the world is quite flat). I am throwing together some lightweight tools to replace it. If we find we need something more robust then we can kick it up to our parent company who has the software and training to get it done efficiently.

I have recently loaded acad 2006 and EP 2009 on my new very fast win 7 computer. Everything works great and super fast except 3D FEATURE EDITOR in SITE DESIGN.
Changing compatibility mode and graphics settings under the ACAD SYSTEM do not seem to have any affect. Neither does changing the graphics card settings.

    Can you help?

I finally figured out a workaround for the 3-D editor problem.
There is a great program called CAD tools, it's freeware.
It is a fantastic program and will not mess up your system.
It has a command in it called TABLE EDIT and it works like a charm. The only problem is after you've created your 3-D polyline, you have to open 3-D feature editor and continue on using Eagle point commands. It is definitely worth using if you are trying to edit a shape, with more than five points.
