    Default Foot print terminals

In Autocad Electrical 2010 I have created a schematic symbol and a panel footprint, both include a terminal, when I insert the panel footprint the terminal field can be seen in the show/edit miscellaneous table but it is not linked to the terminal in the schematic field (i.e. if I change the terminal number on the footprint the schematic is unchanged) other fields update correctly. How do I get the terminal field to be linked between the schematics and the panel layouts?

I think the terminal has to be inserted separate from the footprint. Use the Insert Terminal (Schematic List). Upon editing schematic terminal (use edit component not text editor) it will ask if you want to update other references (this includes the panel terminal).
