I'm curious what's the best way to generate the traditional 2d shop drawings from Revit Architecture?

Shop Drawings of what? Typical workflow is model what you want. cut sections elevations, duplicate plans etc. annotate.... then place those views on sheets and print to send to shop.

You might have to actually draw something. I'd rather draft in Revit than ABAD.
