Default Go away, little tiny window! Go away!

On about half of our computers--all configured similarly with regard to hard- and software--a tiny window shows up whenever we start Revit 2010. All we can see of its title bar is a capital "F" and the Close Window "X." We can't stretch the window, and the "X" doesn't do anything. We can, however, right-click on the window and select one of the two popup menu choices--"Hide" and "Move". Both of these work correctly.

However, I'd *like* to simply not have this window show at all. Today, when Revit couldn't see one of the network drives and threw up a message box reporting it couldn't find the template, I could see just the tops of some additional letters in this form below its title bar. So, it must be an actual message box of some sort.

Any ideas what this is, or of how to avoid seeing it? TIA for any help/suggestions you can offer.

Try using this application that allows you to resize any windows dialog box (even the Revit ones). There's a link from Steve Stafford's RevitOped blog.

Maybe by changing the size of it, you'll be able to read and chase what's causing it.

    Just an idea.
