    Default Project base/survey point

How will moving the project base point and the survey point in the architectural model affect the other discipline models? They had to mirror the building and we decided we wanted the project base point at the lower left corner of the building. Thanks.

I believe that the base point is really only intended to show you where the origin is (0,0,0). Moving the symbol for the base point does not change the origin of the file, it just moves the symbol.
The survey point is the controller for shared coordinates if you are using them.
Check out Teresa Martin's video on shared coordinates from this past AU. Steve Stafford also has an excellent one too. Shared coordinates are not easy - even the experts forget steps sometimes too...

Check out Steve Stafford's great class on shared coordinates at AU 2009 online

He does a great job of explaining this.
