    Can't recall where this came from, and I haven't used it myself .... so caveat emptor.

    Instructions:-
    Place these 2 files ( from the zip ) in the main directory where
    your revit families are. Then double click on the upgrade_rfa.bat file.
    Wait for it to scan all your files to be upgraded. This could take a little time if you have a major amount of families to upgrade and should close out automatically when it is done searching. This will create a "families.txt" file in that directory then. Then leave your browser window open and make sure you can see your Revit icon on your desktop and drag theUpgrade_rfa.txt file onto that icon. Revit will automatically start and then open and close all the family files in the families.txt file until they are all upgraded.
    Now this can hog your computer system resources if you have a lot of them to do, but works.
