    Default Angled wall termination

    Epiphany:
You can quite easily have a wall end at a non-normal angle (ie not 90 degrees) by using another very thin termination wall set at the desired angle to the wall being terminated. For instance, a GWB and stud wall can be terminated at a 60-degree angle by using a GWB-only wall that caps the stud wall. An even thinner "dummy" wall could be use to simply terminate without any wrap effect.

Or, place a regular wall in a future phase and set the join to Mitre.

Red face Re: Angled wall termination

Yes--another good tip, but alas another workaround!

Why not just give us a better wall join editing tool, so we can make angled cleanups.

I have a condition where my Shell/Core model has an angled exterior wall.
My Linked Interior Design model contains the Interior walls and Finish Walls, which terminate into the angled Shell/Core wall. Good luck getting that to clean up..........

    (and while we're at it)

how about the sloped/vertically canted wall tool I've been asking for since Revit 4.5!!!!!!!!

    LOL

    cheers..............

    What about wall reveals?

I use them all the time with no issues and work great with linked files.
