Might be splitting hairs here, but I'm afraid in my book there still is some trial and error involved in the process you've taken.
Why? - 0.25 Circles work for this particular example; there's definitely no guarantee they would work on another example.

I'm with Mike. Granted ACAD is designed to do some figuring for us - and any good engineer will tell you to get the solution with the least amount of effort - but I enjoyed the puzzle. Anyone have similar puzzles or brain teasers they can share? I did a search on google and didn't find what I was looking for. If you know of any, please post at least a link. Thanks for the fun!
