Exclamation 2010 3D Mechanical Pad (Housekeeping Pad)

Any one else use the box command to make a mechanical pad?. Is there another way?. I cannot seem to get the pad to break when a piping crosses above the mechanical pad.

I would have just put in slabs 3 1/2" thick above the slab on grade or slab on deck.

A quick way to get your houskeeping pads to show hidden lines when crossed by MEP objects is to use the right click menu on the 3d Solid you created with the box command. Choose "Convert to" >>> "Multi-view Part" then name it "Housekeeping Pad".
