Company logo family

I thought I would create a better titleblock for our company (I've been importing the .dwg title block). As I started, the first item was to create a family of the company logo, but I'm not sure what template to use? I though a generic one, but I was sure if I'd be able to place that on a sheet if I did that...

I used "Generic Annotation" for out company logo; same for electronic stamps and signatures.

I'm just curious why do you need to create a family with your company logo? Is it because it's not an image? If it's an image, why would you need to create a family? I'm not saying you shouldn't do this, just curious to know why ;o)

It's not an image, an old cad drawing. I Thought I may be able to create a better controllable title block. but I'm having second thoughts about that part. However, I figured I might need it to put the logo on Revit sheets sometime...
