Multiple Local Files on the Same Computer?

One of the people in our other office just called me. She is working on a work shared project. When she opens her local file, the Worksharing Monitor tells her that she has two copies of the same local file open. If she tries to STC she gets an out of memory error.

Anybody seen this before?

do you guys make a new local everyday ?

I think it's good practice to do this atleast once daily. and overwrite or delete the old one.

Agreed. All users make new locals each day.
Delete any "extra" locals.

We've seen that a lot, it usually will refresh itself after a few minutes, sometimes after a STC. Almost always when you start up a file you'll see you and other users "in" the same file. So far, haven't noticed any ill effects of it, we just let it slide.
