Default zoom all on selecting view

I've seen discussions here on zooming in to a single object, but what about zoom all when changing to a new view. Is it possible?

When you open a different view it always zooms extents/all by default, unless you're in a plan view and open another plan view, it will open zoomed to the same spot as the previous plan view you were in. Of course views already open remain zoomed to that same spot when you switch to them (and I sure wouldn't want that to change).

I have seen a few oddities where I open a plan view and it's zoomed way off the screen, I think usually when I'm working in a view on a sheet, and then I open a plan view that's not on a sheet. But a double-click of the mouse wheel or a quick ZX keystroke makes quick work of that.
