Default Link a CAD file problem

I linked an AutoCAD file to a current Revit project. I can control the visibility and can set it to foreground or background. But after some days later, I was not able to control the setting either to foreground or background. Clicking on the linked file will not show the option bar to set it as foreground or background. Is this a bug in Revit Structure 2010?

The only work around is to remove the linked CAD file and re-link it again.
    Any thoughts about this problem?

The option "foreground or background" will NOT work in case you did not check the "Current View Only" option.while linking the Cad file. So be awared of it.

Because it is then imported as a 3D import, and will only be visible if it is within the view range of the view.

Would be nice if it defaulted to "current view only" it will keep it checked after you set it in that session.
