.png image will not detach!

Murph or anyone else that may know why this is…

I was sent a file with a .png (portable network graphic) image in the file; I can’t get rid of the image! It won’t let me detach it for some reason. How can I remove this image?

I have also had problems detaching image references. Typically and 'Audit' found an error and fixed the problem.

I will try the File>Drawing Utilities>Audit and see if it relieves me of my problem.

Is the image displayed or is it just listed in the xref manager? Try creating a empty txt file and remane it o the prn name listed. Then repath to that file and see if you can detach then. Also do you have all the updates SP installed?
