Dear all,
I am using rebar shape 67 in my project. when I give the radius, it gives the radius from center of rebar. but I want it from internal side of rebar. please check the attached image.

The family editor for rebar only displays the centerline of a bar. However, when the bar is loaded into the project Revit performs a little magic with the bars. All dimensions are measure to the outside face of a bar except in the case of a bend. Bends are measured to the inside face. This is done to follow code and the convention for how the bars are fabricated. Bends are usually created by bending the bar around a pin. The pin radius matches the bend radius.
You also indicate a rebar shape code of 67. Which code are you using and can you share?
Thanks,
Erik

Hello,
Unfortunately I have not got a solution for You Annie (I am really new in Revit), but I have got a question...
How do You use rebars in Revit? Is it possible to make a RC detailing drawings. I have heard that Revit is mainly useful in making project - not for reinforcement detailing.
Could anybody attach a screen shot of that kind of drawing.....
