    Default Luxology Imagesynth

Anyone using this software and can recommend it ?

    http://www.luxology.com/imageSynth/

Looks really good in theory but not sure if it can handle creating seamless tileable textures for bricks, blocks, tiles, timber cladding etc from photos taken as opposed to natural 'noisy' organic materials like grass, mulch etc.

They don't seem to do a trial version.
    Any advice appreciated.

    Mies,
I am interested in it, not tried it yet however, was thinking of checking out the firm for a trial.

Suggest you contact the firm direct and ask all of your questions no holds barred, ask for samples or places to go to see / download some samples etc. Check out reviews
Be good if you report back also.

Since (thanks to Trombe ) I am using (learning) modo 401 (no mistake in the spelling - that's how they call it - all small letters) and I am absolutely in love with it, I already purchased their Imagesynth as well. I haven't had a chance to use it yet (had no time) but for the small price they asked for it and very positive description and snapshots I am sure it will turn out to be a very useful tool indeed...

As a matter of fact, I saw some examples showing seamless brick photos being created using this program. Very impressive!

Imagesynth looks really good - I've been looking for something like that for years.

    Thanks for pointing it out
