No UVW coords when exporting

I want to export to dwg from RAC 2010 and then link to MAX Design 2010 but I can't get correct UV coords so I have to do everything from the begining...
It seems that MAX can't read the coords correctly... Is this a known issue or is there a setting I can't find?

You should be using the FBX export, not DWG for rendering in Max design.

I know, but I have many changes from my client so I would prefer to have my model linked...
