    Default Is there anyway to have dim text centered and force the dim line through the text

    When I have a two lines of text for a dimension I would like to have the text centered and have the dimension line continue through the middle of the text? Is there anyway to accomplish this?

    use a \X where you want the line break to occur.

    24' TYPICAL\XCLEAR ZONE

    will display as

    24' TYPICAL
    <--------------------------------------------------------->
    CLEAR ZONE

    If you have your text placement set at "above", and have your alternate units (which could be edited to be anything) set for "below the primary units", it should do what you want.

    Also, when you enter the code for \X the letter "X" MUST be uppercase
