Traverse from FBK file

Hello,

I am a civil engineer attempting to do surveying, so keep that in mind. I am using C3d 2010 sp2. I have a fieldbook file that I have attached with a closed traverse that I am attempting to use civil3d to perform my traverse adjustment. I have an initial setup at point 1, initial backsight of point 25 (with pt. 25 ~ pt. 10), stations 2-10, and a final backsight of point 11 (with pt 1~pt. 11). My control points are set at 1 and 11.

From the research I have done, it seems that I need to have a direction instead of a shot for my initial backsight (i.e. AZ 1 25 315.000) but I can't figure out how to input a direction with more accuracy. If I enter a direction of 315.3152 for example, the fieldbook wont' import. However, even with the direction set at 315.000, c3d still doesn't bring in point 11 and it doesn't draw a line from 10 to 11.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Hey - congrats on the first post.
The backsight needs to have a direction, so where null exists make it a direction. It is usually the circle of the instrument. I used zero to expedite matters as well as rem'ing out temp & press with an exclamation.
