Red face 64 bit Revit exporter and Freedom Viewer?

    Is there:

64 bit Revit exporter and Freedom Viewer?

Stuck with free trial 32 bit versions---
We can not even open our Revit files
on 32 bit machines due to lack of RAM, so we have upgraded all machines to Win 7 64 bit
    and Revit 64 bit.

Trying to export Revit files for use in NW. LOL.....

Let me guess--trial versions in 32 bit; only purchased version is available in 64 bit...

    help?

    cheers.......

    Update:

Found the 64 bit version of Freedom on the NW download website.

    However,

Still need Revit exporter 64 bit?

    cheers........

The Revit trial download gives you the option for both 32 and 64 bit versions. You would also need to download the exporters separately assuming you're using the NWC format as Freedom doesn't include those.

    Cheers

Red face Re: 64 bit Revit exporter and Freedom Viewer?

    Just to clarify:

We already have licensed version of Revit Architecture 2010 64 bit, running on Windows 7 64 bit.

We need the 64 bit Revit exporter for Navisworks, which I understand comes from the NW installer, and then shows up in Revit under Add-ins upon installation and restarting Revit.
I see the exporter in Revit, but it won't work because it is a 32 bit app trying to run on Win 7 64 bit OS and RAC 64 bit software.

    Am I missing something?

    cheers.

    Hi Cliff,

Note: you will need a full version of NW (Review, Simulate or Manage) to use the exported Revit files. These only export to NWC, while Freedom only views NWD or DWF files. If you want to use Revit and Freedom only, export your model as a 3D DWF.

    Cheers

As amixam posted, exporting to DWF or even DWG is a workaround for getting from Revit to NW if you don't own NW.
