Default Link data extraction file to a relative path

Summary: The ability to link a .DXE file so it is a relative path instead of full path.

Description: I would like to link a.DXE (data extraction) file so it is a "relative path" instead of a full path. IE: The .DXE file is liked to the same folder that contains the current drawing, not linked to my C:/AutoCad drawings/Job Name/folder2... I really want to be able to move the drawing and .DXE to a different folder and not have the link broken. Thanks

How Used: I wouldn't have to re-link the .DXE file when I move the drawing and file.

    Feature Affinity: Other

In case anyone comes across this in a search:
While not ideal, you can manually type the relative path in the external references palette saved path location as a work around.

    Instructions:
In the External References palette, select the data extraction in the File References frame, then in the Details frame double click the saved path to edit then replace everything up to your dwg directory with a . (ex C:\Project Dir\Project\Drawing\xref\Data.dxe becomes .\xref\Data.dxe)(also use ..\ to go back a directory if needed)
