Default Plotting light lines and text using PDF

    Hi,

I plotted a layout to PDF using "DWG to PDF". Looks fine on the PDF, but plots light to the printer or plotter.
I ran the same thing through a separate computer with AutoCAD Map3D and got the same results.

    Using:
    AutoCAD Map3D 2016
    O/S('s):
Windows 7 Pro (1st), has Adobe Pro
    Windows 10 (2nd) doesn't have Adobe Pro

I also noticed that the plot style table has 2 columns (Normal & Style1), instead of the 256 colours that I am used to seeing.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like you're using a different Plot Style (STB vs CTB)?
When you go to plot, what plot style are you using? someone would have had to change it.

If it's wrong/not to your standard you need to change it back.

    Look into "Convertpstyles"

    Thanks Ted.

That didn't do it. I have had this happen on 2 separate drawings. One is a details drawing that I have been using repeatedly, the other a surveyor's drawing produced from other software that I have modified and placed a aerial photo and a polyline on it.
The first one, the title block and border, and the detail labels come out black - the line work, notes, dimensions, etc. come out faded.
The surveyor's drawing - the aerial photo and polyline comes out solid, but the other info faded.

The thing is, it looks fine on the PDF, but when I print it, fade happens.
