Showing section markers in Site Plan view

I have a Site Plan view which has the section markers visible. When I do a duplicate of that view the section markers are not visible, when I look at it’s visibility graphics the section markers are on!!

Even if I try turning all the annotation categories off and then on again in the visibility graphics, I still can’t seem to get the section markers to show again..
Any ideas here, this is really challenging my sanity..

Is the duplicate at a larger scale, above the threshold of the "hide at scales coarser than" of the sections, or are the site plans the same scale? (I would imagine they are, having dup'ed, but still, my best guess)

thank you Daniel, yes it was at a larger scale, problem solved..
never would have guessed it on my own..
