Question Polyline Area Field Command ??

    Hi All,

I'm trying to create a block, command, macro or lsp that will create and place the area text (m²) which is a field and linked to the polyline command.

What I ultimatley want is a button to:
    1) Use the Polyline function to create boundary, then select polyline which will create the area text (m²) for placement. This area text is a field linked to the polyline.

Has anyone mastered this one yet?

    Thanks

I'm sure there are samples in the AutoLISP forum. Search there before asking in that forum.
