ACAD will not start

ACAD 2010 Program quit working. Re-installed ACAD 2010 - no options- successfully per the setup program. Clicked ICON to start and got the message an error occured. Completely uninstalled / reinstalled, again the setup program reported sucessfull install but it would not start.

Vista Home Premium in a Compac Presario 2048 mb Intel E2180

Again 2010 was working.

Went back to 2008 - same process with no luck either.

Before you try to install again, follow the instructions in this document to ensure all traces of acad have been removed.

Unfortunately that did not help. Spent about and hour uninstalling erasing deleting stopping servies. Installed 2008 - would not open. Tried to load 2010 - error installing.

Any other suggestions?

Even if you don't have subscription, the lic agreement allows you to get tech support on installations. Your reseller should be able to help you.
