    Question split wall

I have a unique wall split that I cannot get to work. I have stone veneer, a stone sweep, a window cut in, stone trim around the window inset into the wall.

I need to align the upper half of the wall stone to be in alignment - on coursing - with the top of the stone sweep.

I cannot get the wall to split.

I tried to split the wall and then place the window but it said that I could not keep the split and took it away.

    ANY ideas???

WOO HOO - I found an answer.

Searching a little more I found a forum thread that made me think of splitting the material in the type properties.

I duplicated my material and just assigned the new material to one face and left the other with the original material.

This one will SO be in my "This is SO not in the book about Revit Architecture" class at AU!!!

Thanks for posting this...I was having the same problem with my brick coursing and had resigned to taking care of it with coursing details...but this solved it, and I wasn't even searching the forum for a solution!
