    Default Filters overriding subcategories?

Is there any way to prevent filter overrides applying to subcategories?

Applying a color or lineweight change via a filter seems to apply not only to the parent model category but also all child subcategories. Not a desired affect for what I'm trying to achieve.

    Thoughts?

Yes, that is another <insert profanity> oversight.

What I have done is added another parameter to the catagory.
In my filters I use a and statement.
This way my filters only apply to the child in the catagory that has a specific parameter.
