    Default What is an ideal system for Civil 3d?

    If you where to spec a Workstation to run Civil 3D what would your specs be?
    CPU
    Memory
    Video card
    Make (dell,hp,IBM...)


    I need to upgrade my Civil guys for LDD to Civil 3D

    Get the Fastest Processor (or the one next to it)
    2GB RAM
    nVidia Quadro Chipset Video Card
    Dual Hard Drives (one for the OS, and One as the swap file) SATA, or SCSI is fine.

    As to 'make' build them yourself using a Gigabyte Mainboard and
    Intel Chipset, you will save at least 500 per workstation.
