    Default Part Resources

    Hi ALL,
I am very frustrated because I have no part library instead of the Inventor built-in.
I have to start the drawing from sketch every time.

    1) Can I be advised if there is any useful/popular free download site for mechanical parts?
    2) Info for commercial package is also welcome - I will ask my manager if he is willing to spend extra money.

    Your helps are much appreciated.

Among the first places I look for mechanical parts is the CBliss site, here

    http://www.cbliss.com/inventor/index.htm

If it's not here, I'll do a google search for whatever the part is called, and if that fails, I just draw it myself.

Thanks. I'll have a look when I come back in the office.

    There's also http://mfgcommunity.autodesk.com/

Requires a login (Free) but has a lot of vendor provided parts.
