Referencing sheet

Hi, has anyone worked out a way to control the "Referencing sheet" as shown on the attached JPG?

We currently jump through all sorts of hoops to get the detail, section etc referncing back to the correct sheet.

Would an API app be the way to go in lieu of Autodesk giving us easy access to this? My thoughts are along the lines of the app would bring up a list of each sheet that is a valid "referencing sheet", then you select the sheet you want to be the "referencing sheet", Voila!

Hi Pete,
hows things going?

Revit always references the first sheet that calls up the detail/section.
However sometimes it gets a little confused, we have found that you sometimes need to adjust the cropping boundary of a detail to get it to reference the correct sheet.

Curently it is not possible to edit the referencing sheet with the API as it is read only.

Flat out busy at the moment, a little $3.5 billion project keeping us frantic. This referencing sheet issue is a real hassle. Hopefully Autodesk will add something in the 2012 version

We use a view title family that references back to the original sheet. I will try to attach it. Maybe it will help.
