Slide Library images not showing

Hi all,

Transfered a CUI from a 2007 machine to a new 2010 machine - everything has worked well apart from images/drawings in a slide library are not showing.

Everything is looking in the right place and the custom menu 'Symbols' functions - just doesn't actually show the library files...


Any idea's how to get this sorted?

I'll try and attach an image to explain what is being seen.

In the same folder that your menu (CUI or CUIX) file is located.

Everything looks just about fine - it's just the images that don't show up!

I don't use the slide libraries.

MNR file is a resource file containing all the images in a menu.

Do you still have the slides (.SLD files)?

Thanks for explaining what the .mnr is!

The .sld files are stored on a network - all the machines are directed there to access the slide library.

This has worked fine on the AutoCAD 2007 machine, but for some reason the images aren't showing up for the new 2010 one.

Deleting the .mnr didn't work

Hey jayc,

In the CUI look for Legacy then look for Image Tile Menus. This is where you will need to put your image library.

Try adding the path to the slide files to your AutoCAD support path and renaming the existing .mnr file. AutoCAD should rebuild the tiles and create a new mnr file. This should load when your other users startup AutoCAD.

I might be wrong, but I don't believe that there's any connection between the mnr files and the slide libraries,, The slide.slb contains the images for the old style icon/slide menu
