Contour Labeling

When I label a sinle contour how do I designate which label style. I have two styles, one for existing majors and one for proposed majors.

You need to go into the Add Labels dialog box. That is the easiest way to change the current style.

you can also go ahead and put the labels on the surface, then highlight them and change the label style in the properties box

you can go into your Settings Tab in your toolspace. Right click on Surface and select Edit Feature Settings. In here you can also set the default surface label style. It also very helpful to have your Add label dialog box up so you can switch your surface labels on the fly.
