    Question Blank Toolbar Buttons

I have installed the new AutoCAD 2011 on one of my companies machines. We have quite a few LISP routines that we have created buttons for on some custom toolbars. Now some of these are fine and some of the toolbars display blank buttons. The BMP files are all in the same directory. When I go to the CUI, and look at these toolbars, the icons are displayed on the toolbars there. Our 2010 machines use the same location for the buttons and they are now also displaying blank buttons on some toolbars. I'm baffled since the buttons display correctly in the CUI but not once I exit the CUI.

    Any ideas?

Do you have the location of your custom button images listed in the Custom Icon Location under the Customization Files branch of your Files tab of Options?
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

Well, I don't know why but I have finally gotten them all to show up. I had to go into the CUI and create new toolbars with the same commands on them. I kept the old toolbars and just used another name for the new ones. When I did this and clicked OK to get out of the CUI, the buttons on both the old and new toolbars showed the icons. I then went back into the CUI and deleted the new ones I had created. When I clicked OK, the icons were still there. I have no idea why but this worked for me.

Probably something to try next time is to rename the .mnr file and restart. AutoCAD should load the menu and recreate the mnr file (it's a file with all the icons in it), if it cannot find the mnr file to load.
