    Default Profiles and settings

I'm trying to set my CAD group to work from profiles based on different clients. I'm able to create, edit through options et al) the profiles and even start AutoCAD from a particular profile using the /p parameter. However I noticed that when I edit some itmes such as file paths through the options window. These changes will remain active even if I used a different Profile. Is there a way to reset the options changed during an active profile so that they're not remember in an instance of AutoCAD open with a specific profile?
In advance thanks for your help.

    Welcome to AUGI!

Unfortunately, importing a profile using ARG file is only valid the first time. Additional instances of the /p switch in the application icon will only set that profile current by name, and does not re-read the actual ARG file. If you make changes to Support File Search Paths (SFSP) after the profile has been imported, they will remain in the registry.

That is why I use ACAD.lsp to manage the SFSP as RK illustrates in this example. Each time a user starts AutoCAD the *default* is applied.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, However with this option I'm struggling with being able to set up a method where the user can get a selection to pick and choose a pre-configured SFSP for a client specific environment.

You can set the SFSP using autolisp.
