Crosshair disappears

My crosshair disappears periodically in ACA 2011. Particularly when leaving Block Edit mode.

The same thing is happening to me - the crosshairs randomly dissapear when changing between model space and paper space. Only reappear by closing and reopening the drawing

Have got the most up to date graphics drivers and it still keeps happening
