    Default FDO coordinates

I have an Autocad Drawing... No coordinate system, it is a 5000,5000 thing. But now I have shape files and images with coordinate systems. I am connecting them with the FDO Data Connect in Civil 3D 2011. How do I get the shape files and the images to go to the right location? I cannot move the drawing. I am totally lost.

Either create a users custom coordinate system for that dwg (Define coordinate system) or use the transform command to move the objects to match the shp file objects.

For some reason, I cannot figure out how to create a coordinate system. That is what I was hoping to do, but I cannot find anyone to help me understand it.

Do you know of any resources that can help me understand coordinates? I have had some connections I swear were in the same coordinates and they come in at different places......

I really would like to use the Data Connect and NOT Map Insert.
