Default Revit massing into Ectotect for shadows only

What’s the best way of bringing in a Revit massing into Ectotect in order to do a shadow study?
I don’t want to bring in any rooms or model objects (walls, windows, etc..) I only need the massing, so gbXML doesn’t seem to be the way..

Have you tried exporting to DXF?
Also,if it is just a mass and you want it just for shadows, what is wrong with exporting to GBXML, the mass will be 1 zone which wont matter as your not doing thermal etc, just shadows?
