    Angry Problem with autosave

    I'm running the LDD 2005 package with Map. I have been having a strange issue with my autosave, it turns itself off with no warning or reason. I think my video card (ATI) is causing my drawings to lock up which happens with no error message and sometimes after a crash my autosave will be set to zero. If I catch it, its no big deal but I have lost alot of work because this keeps happening and Autodesk has no solution nor does my reseller. So I send out a cry for help, has anyone any idea of what I can do to prevent these things from happening?

    P.S.-I primarily use the MAP portion of the software as I have little need for LDD.

    Try disabling the 'Power Play' option in the video adapter properties. This may be causing the problem.

    okay, has this worked? I have 3 users that have had their auto-save randomly shut-off. This has been happening only since we installed 2005. I haven't looked any harder but I have a feeling there are more users out there that this has been happening to.

    I have the same problem of autosave resetting to 0 in ACAD 2008. If I find anything out I'll post here.

    I have added this to my acaddoc.lsp (not sure what file is used for LDT, might be the same)

    Code:
    (defun VTF (CALL CALLBACK)
      (if (= (strcase (car CALLBACK)) "SAVETIME")
        (progn
          (setq ALK (getvar "savetime"))
          (if (/= ALK 5)
        (progn
            (alert "Savetime has been changed, Resetting to 5 minutes! ")
              (setvar "savetime" 5)
          )
        )
          )
      )
    )
    It alerts the user if the autosave time has been changed, and resets it back to 5 minutes.
