Rendering software

Looking for the best software that would be able to handle an imported AutoCad 3-D of furniture to render photo-like with chosen finishes and be able to add walls around etc. Not interested in something that would require reinventing the wheel. Any suggestions?

3DS Max has a 30 trial or 13 month trial if you are a student.

Blender is a free 3D Modeling software. It's nice.

Google Sketchup with Kerkythea plugin (or one of the other plugins, there are several).

Or just use Autocad?
