Angry QTO - Manhole Vert. Meters

    Hi folks,
How would I go about getting the vertical measurements of manholes (rim to sump) in QTO?

I've tried adding the manholes as a pay item through the QTO manager by a) assigning it through the parts list and b) by selection.

The only thing it will calculate is the Count of manholes, even though i've set up the formula for length. I've changed my units to multiple variations without success.

    (Civil 3D 2010, metric)

    Thanks!!

As far as I know, this can't be done (could be wrong though). In 2011, you can do something with depth and pipes but I don't know if it works on manholes or not. I think it's geared more for depth of trench for the pipes.

A new parameter in Civil 3D 2011 , Part Depth, is now available in the Pay Item Formula dialog box.
Part Depth can currently be used for AutoCAD Civil 3D pipe and structure entities. For pipes, Part Depth is defined as (maximum cover + minimum cover) /2 + part outer diameter. This new parameter can be used to compute trenching volume for pipes, for example. For structures, Part Depth is equal to the structure's height.
