Angry AutoCAD Mechanical 2005 very bottom bar Error

Attached is an image of my error. At the very bottom bar where; "snap, grid, ortho, etc" appear I keep getting some lame read out (ex. END, MID, CND, NOD, QUA, ETC), and it pushes my bottoms over. Now I wouldn't mind it since I know all the hotkeys for snap and such, but there is no hotkey for switching between model and paper space in layout tabs. My only quick fix is to restart the program.

I'd like to get rid of this lame read out, it serves no purpose. I've looked through the menus and can't figure out how to get rid of it.

    Can anyone help me?

    Those are object snaps.
A right-click on one of the tabs will probably give you the option to not display them.

Red face Re: AutoCAD Mechanical 2005 very bottom bar Error

END, MID, CEN, -I can't believe I didn't make that connection (not being sarcastic, didn't really know).

But unfortunately I still can't find an option to turn it off. I know its in OSNAP, but where is the question, consulting F1 help, now that I have a direction.

    Thanks jaberwok.

Anybody else have an idea where the option to turn off OSNAP tracking read out?

Couldn't find anything in help. And the error is back. It only goes away when I restart the program. When I'm drawing it appears then disappears, but now its back and building up and soon all the buttons will be pushed off screen.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this read out.
