    Question Match Line Masking

How do I go about modifying the match line mask if I expand the view port? The mask does not expand with the change. There does not seem to be any grips for the mask or settings for that matter in the Match Line properties, Match Line Styles or Label Styles in Settings. This is not the match line text mask. The layouts were generated by the Create View Frames wizard using a template I created with our standard border and a plan viewport.

Some Other Info I found in help:

    Match Line Mask Area

Use the match line mask area to hide or mask the area that exists between the outside of a match line and the inside border or boundary of the view frame.
This component exists only in plan views, not profile views, and only in paper space.

    Also:
Match line labels are displayed on top of the match line mask area, and are therefore visible over it.

How can a model object (Labels) cover a paper space object (Mask) ?

    Default Re: Match Line Masking

A couple things that come to mind (haven't actually tested this so I could be totally wrong):
    1) The mask goes out to the view frame. If your viewport doesn't match the viewfram, you may have to manually adjust the mask (i.e. add a new one).
    2) The mask isn't in paper space, it's in model space and is a part of the matchline.
