Angry Windows XP and AutoCad 2000i

I use Windows XP as my operating system and I am having a problem installing 2000i. I am getting an error message during installation: "installation ended prematurely because of an error". I had the software installed at one point prior to reloading my operating system. What can I do?

Are you installing as a clinet using a network image?

If so verify that there are no spaces in the folder name
that it is located in. (Don't ask why, only know that it
    can cause proplems)

What install option are you selecting during the install?
Full, Compact, or Typical Note that if you choose an
option other than the one from which the image was made
you will get this error. So if the image was for Typical
    and you select Full=ERROR

We have had a problem occasionally when there is a file named "Autocad 2001i" under "Program Files" where the installation process is trying to make a folder named "Autocad 2001i." I don't know how it gets there, but I delete it and the install works.

I am having a problem reinstalling my Autocad 2000i on Windows XP Home Addition. Right after the install begins I get a Fatal Error: "Installation ended prematurely because of an error". The problem started when I reinstalled Window's XP. The only change made during the re-installation of XP was the designation of my Hard Disk which is now located in the E drive.
