palette problems

Are your Tool Palettes running on a network location that is locked via I.T. permissions? Are you running an Enterprise CUI? For testing purposes can you drag/drop a block onto any Tool Palette?

My Tool Palettes are not running on a network location and I am not running an Enterprise CUI. I am able to drag blocks onto my tool palette, but not commands. When I "grab" a command from the CUI Command List pane, it will allow me to "float" to the palette that I would like to place the command on, but the circle-slash remains.

I should also mention that I am running AutoCAD MEP 2011 but this problem only occurs when I have AutoCAD set as my current profile. When I have AutoCAD MEP set as my current profile, I am able to drag a custom command onto my tool palette just fine. We do a lot of design in 2-D and some design in 3-D and I would like to be able to have both profiles customized the way that I like so that I can move back and forth between profiles depending on the job.

I did not have this problem with AutoCAD MEP 2010.
