Unhappy Exel opens in Wrong Version of autocad

I have an Autocad object in my excel sheet. When I edit the autocad object it opens me to Autocad Architecture 2010, but I want to open it in autocad 2006. I have multiple autocad versions on my desktop, but it seems to only open to to 2010. I've tryed opening 2006 and closing it and reopening the autocad object which still didn't work. Is their a way to open my excel autocad object into my autocad 2006 version, instead of 2010?

Was the ole object created from 2010 or 2006? The version of the file that is embedded may be the issue.

Question Re: Exel opens in Wrong Version of autocad

Are you running any third party software?

We have some software that we use for a block library. Whenever we have a "little hic-cup" this program opens AutoCAD 2004. I don't know why.
