    Question Animating a crane

    Dear Sir

    If we to do 3d-Animation in Navisworks is it possible & I want to Review the 3D-Model in Navis,for example if it is a crane i want to show it navis in a animation in a such a way that it is moving really in the model,how carry out with this task.Please explain me .

    You need to use the Scripter in Navisworks to animate objects, this works by adding "key frames" just like most other animation software. Select the object you want to animate, add a starting keyframe then move the object to its next point and add another keyframe, etc. Navisworks will interpolate (fill in) the rest path automatically.

    You need to use the Animator module and follow the steps that mtcdesign mentioned. There is a brief chapter on this process in the user manual. This is located in the install directory or you can access a web version of it here:
