Default Home Tab in Ribbon is Missing

The Home Tab in my Ribbon is missing in Revit MEP 2010. Since there is no customization of the Ribbon, how would one go about trouble-shooting this issue?

    Thanks,
    Chris

you need to reset the ribbon to restore default settings, you can delete the UIState.dat file.

UIState.dat is located in the following folder:

    Windows XP:

    %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Revit\<product name and release>

    Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\<product name and release>
