Default Snow/wind loads is not available

    Hi all,

Why the snow/wind load dialog is not available? bug?
Im work with 3d frame type and using Eurocodes. If I use 2d frame type the dialog is ok.
    See the image.

It works for Eurocode but you need to work in 2D Frame module.

You can generate snow/wind loads for 3D frames and 3D trusses but 2D structure is your starting point.
After you defined parameters concerned with snow and wind loads when you click “3D Generation” button you start definition your 3D structure from 2D
3D structure is generated during generation of snow/wind loads process.
Wind and Snow 2D/3D" is always grayed out in 3D modules. You can use this option only in 2D modules.

Yes Tomasz, I saw that topic, this is a very good idea.

I think that the Snow/wind too is very limited cause if I use it then my "plane frame" is replicate N times. But if I'm work in a structure witch is not build by similar plane frames then I can not use Snow/wind tool. Or not?

As you noticed there are some limitations. Keep in mind that 3D Snow/wind load generation is dedicated to repeatable/same frames.

    Hi,

Does anybody know if the wind load (Eurocode) generator for a random 3D model will be implemented in the software? And if when?

    Thanks.
