When building a Dynamic Block, what is the difference between using a linear parameter in lieu of a linear dimensional constraint?

Default Re: Linear Parameters vs. Linear Dimensional Constraint

in a nutshell: linear parameter controlls the action on an object linearly, and a constraint is just as it says; it constrains an object to a certain dimension.
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.
