Cool Weird dimension behaviour in roof sketch

Has anyone else had this problem? Revit 2011 update 1...
I'm in a sketch for a footprint roof, and created a ref plane to reference the centre of my sketch. When I dimension from one sketch line to the ref plane to the other sketch line, and click the eq, the sketch line moves, not the ref plane. Even if I pin the sketch lines, this happens. Is there any way to create an anchor to say that I want the ref plane to move, and not the sketch lines?

    I have attached an example.
    Thanks!

    Hi Stacey,

Generallly ref plane's stay stationary. That isn't always the case but in this case the referance plane is working exactly as it should. Reference planes are meant to control the elements and not the other way around.

Does this behaviour only apply when in sketch mode? I've just done a quick test dimensioning from a floor to a ref plane to a wall, clicked the eq, and the ref plane moved, not the wall or the floor.
